Warframe Prime Junk Prices Explained
Prime junk does not have one fixed Warframe price. Sellers and buyers may price bundles by number of parts, total Ducat value, Ducat bracket or complete trade, and the realistic rate changes with demand, Baro Ki’Teer timing and market conditions.
Before pricing a bundle, check every part on DucatDump. Remove anything valuable, vaulted or important to a Prime set, then compare the remaining parts by total Ducat value and current buyer listings.
A Trade Chat rate is an offer, not an official exchange rate or guaranteed completed price.
Check whether your Prime parts are actually junk
Review each part’s Ducats, estimated Platinum, vault status, advice, set context and stored history before bundling it.
Key facts
| Official fixed price | None; Prime junk is a community classification and offer format |
|---|---|
| Verified Ducat brackets | 15, 25, 45, 65 and 100 Ducats |
| DucatDump full trade | Six Prime-item slots in the current listing workflow |
| Core comparison | Parts, total Ducats, total Platinum and Platinum per 100 Ducats |
| Safety rule | Missing price data means no data, not junk |
How to Check a Prime Junk Price
- List every Prime part in the bundle.
- Check each unfamiliar part on DucatDump.
- Remove valuable, vaulted and set-completing parts.
- Calculate the total number of parts.
- Calculate the total Ducat value.
- Identify whether the offer is per part, per bundle or per full trade.
- Compare current buyer and seller listings.
- Check whether Baro Ki’Teer is approaching or present.
- Confirm the final total Platinum.
- Complete the transaction through Warframe’s Trade interface.
A Prime-junk price is meaningless without bundle details. State the number of parts, total Platinum, whether the amount is per item or total, required Ducat composition, duplicate rules, full-trade requirement, account-market context and whether valuable parts were excluded. “Prime junk for 20p” is ambiguous unless the number of parts and bundle rules are stated.
Check every part before calling it junk. Relic color is not market value. Bronze or high-Ducat parts can be individually valuable, a vaulted part can be difficult to replace and an ordinary-looking component can complete a useful set. Use the Prime Junk Calculator before finalizing a bundle.
What Is Prime Junk?
Prime junk is a community term for unwanted or relatively low-value Prime blueprints and components that players sell in bulk or exchange for Ducats. It is not an official permanent item category.
The label depends on current market value, personal crafting needs, set progress, availability and replacement difficulty. A duplicate or bronze reward is not automatically junk. A vaulted part is not automatically valuable, but it needs checking. Buyers often want potential Ducats; sellers often prioritize speed and inventory cleanup. For acquisition and listing steps, learn how to farm and sell Prime junk.
Do Warframe Prime Junk Prices Have a Fixed Rate?
No. Prime junk has no official fixed Platinum price. A realistic rate depends on total Ducats, item count, available Trade slots, buyer and seller activity, Baro timing, account-market context, accepted Ducat tiers, speed and liquidity.
Old forum posts, screenshots and videos can become inaccurate. Even a new message is only one player’s offer and can expire before a trade occurs. This guide therefore explains pricing formats rather than naming one supposedly universal rate.
The Main Ways Prime Junk Is Priced
Prime-junk prices make sense only after the pricing unit is defined. Compare the same unit on both sides of a deal.
| Pricing method | What it means | Main advantage | Main risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per part | Each eligible item has the stated price | Simple | Ignores Ducat differences |
| Price per bundle | One total for a specified group | Clear when detailed | Bundle may be ambiguous |
| Price per full trade | One price for the agreed maximum slot use | Efficient daily trades | Must define item count |
| Price by Ducat bracket | Different rates for fixed Ducat values | More precise for buyers | More complicated |
| Price per 100 Ducats | Rate based on total kiosk return | Compares different bundles | Requires correct total |
| Mixed negotiated bundle | Custom agreed composition | Flexible | Easy to misunderstand |
Price Per Part
Price per part means every eligible Prime item in the offer receives the same Platinum rate. The total equals item count multiplied by the agreed per-item rate.
This format is easy to advertise for low-value mixtures, but it can overvalue weak Ducat items and undervalue high-Ducat or individually desirable parts. Confirm whether duplicate copies count separately. If an offer states X Platinum each and contains six eligible parts, the total is six times X; X is intentionally a placeholder, not a current rate.
Price Per Bundle
A bundle price covers a specific named group of items. State quantity, total Platinum, required Ducat composition, whether tiers may mix and whether the deal uses one or several trading sessions.
Clear templates are WTS Prime junk — [number] parts — [total]p and WTB Prime junk — [bundle requirements] — [total]p. Bracketed text is an intentional placeholder. Replace it with exact terms before posting.
What Does “Full Trade” Mean?
A full trade usually means that the agreed Prime-junk offer uses all item slots the buyer and seller intend to fill in one Warframe trading session. DucatDump’s current listing and generated-message logic defines a full Prime-junk trade as six items.
Each separate Prime component copy occupies an item slot; Platinum uses its own offer field. One completed session consumes one daily trade for each participant. “Full trade” alone defines neither Ducats nor Platinum, so state six parts and the exact price. Never assume an outdated guide or another player uses the phrase identically.
Pricing by Ducat Bracket
Pricing by Ducat bracket assigns separate offers to parts with fixed kiosk values. DucatDump’s current item schema and interfaces support 15, 25, 45, 65 and 100-Ducat Prime parts.
Brackets help buyers compare kiosk output, but equal Ducats do not mean equal Platinum. Remove valuable items even when they fit an accepted tier, describe mixed tiers explicitly and consult the current tool rather than treating its configurable junk thresholds as official rates. Compare checked candidates for Ducat conversion.
Price Per 100 Ducats
Price per 100 Ducats compares a bundle’s total Platinum cost with the amount of Ducats the buyer can receive at a kiosk.
Price per 100 Ducats = total Platinum ÷ total Ducats × 100. This normalizes bundles with different sizes, but does not replace item checks. Round according to the stated offer rules, verify the exact selected parts and remove an individually valuable component even when the overall ratio looks efficient. DucatDump also exposes the inverse item metric, Ducats per platinum.
Why Total Ducat Value Matters
Total Ducat value matters because Prime-junk buyers frequently want Baro Ki’Teer currency. Item count alone does not reveal kiosk output: six low-Ducat parts can yield fewer Ducats than a smaller high-Ducat group.
Show total Ducats so buyers can compare acquisition cost and sellers can see what permanent kiosk value they surrender. Understand how Ducats and kiosk conversion work before agreeing to a bundle.
Why Number of Parts Still Matters
Part count matters because Warframe limits item slots and daily trading sessions. More genuine junk can make one session efficient, while low-value items may only justify the coordination effort in bulk.
Keep these totals separate: distinct item names, individual copies, occupied slots, total Prime parts, total Ducats, total Platinum and daily trades consumed. DucatDump treats the six copies in a full-trade listing as six items even if some names repeat.
Trade-Slot Efficiency
Trade-slot efficiency describes how much useful value a player transfers within one limited trading session. High-Ducat parts provide more kiosk output per occupied item slot, while bulk sellers may prefer to clear more inventory quickly. Efficient slots can affect willingness to pay, but are not identical to seller profit and never justify hiding a valuable individual part.
Buyer Prices vs Seller Prices
Buyer and seller prices represent different priorities. Compare several current offers and remember that none proves a completed trade.
| Offer type | What it represents | Typical priority |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer offer | What a buyer is currently willing to pay | Speed and acquisition cost |
| Seller offer | What a seller is asking | Higher return |
| Negotiated price | Value accepted by both players | Balance of speed and value |
| Calculator estimate | Informational comparison | Decision support |
Fast-Sale Price vs Patient-Sale Price
Fast-sale pricing targets an available buyer now; patient-sale pricing waits for a better match. Genuine bulk junk usually favors convenience, while liquid individual items can justify patience. Daily trades and available time affect the choice. An unsold high asking price produces no Platinum, but speed does not require accepting unclear terms. Compare realistic Prime-part selling strategies.
How Baro Ki’Teer Affects Prime-Junk Demand
Prime-junk demand can increase around Baro Ki’Teer visits because players need Ducats for his rotating inventory. Buyers may prepare before or during a visit, but urgency depends on the current stock.
More sellers can arrive at the same time, so higher demand does not guarantee higher rates. Special visits may behave differently. Check the Star Chart and prepare for Baro Ki’Teer instead of assuming a permanent weekend premium.
Do Prime Junk Prices Differ by Platform?
Prime-junk prices can differ between reachable account markets, but old platform-specific assumptions are unreliable. Cross Platform Play now enables broad cross-platform trading when applicable settings and account requirements are satisfied.
Players must still choose the correct context on community tools. Nintendo Switch Platinum cannot be traded with other platforms, and account eligibility can limit who can complete a deal. Verify the current pool through the official Cross Platform Progression Guide.
Why Relic Rarity Does Not Set Prime-Junk Price
Relic rarity does not set a Prime-junk price. Bronze, silver and gold describe reward probability, not demand, current supply, set usefulness or market liquidity.
A bronze reward can be vaulted or valuable, while a gold reward can be abundant. Ducat values and market prices also measure different things. Never use Relic color as the only classification rule; understand individual Prime-part value.
Why Vaulted Parts Need Extra Checking
Vaulted parts may be harder to replace because their relevant Relics are absent from normal current acquisition, but stored supply and demand vary. Some remain cheap; others become set bottlenecks. Prime Resurgence can restore temporary supply. Treat the vault badge as a prompt to investigate, not proof of value, and protect vaulted Prime parts before bundling them.
How Complete Sets Affect Junk Value
A low-value component may complete a useful set, and selling it as junk can remove that option. One missing bottleneck may also make set completion unprofitable, so compare rather than assume.
- Identify the associated Prime set.
- Check owned components.
- Check current complete-set value.
- Check missing-part costs.
- Compare set completion with the junk offer.
- Remove strategically useful parts from the bundle.
How to Use the DucatDump Prime Junk Calculator
The DucatDump Prime Junk Calculator checks individual Prime parts and related set context. Search an exact item; review fixed Ducats, estimated Platinum, rarity, vaulted state, junk/mid/high/no-data advice, warnings and related components on an item-specific page; then open stored item price history when available.
- Search the exact item.
- Read its junk or value classification.
- Review fixed Ducats.
- Review estimated Platinum.
- Check vault warnings.
- Open stored price history.
- Check set context.
- Remove valuable items.
- Total the remaining bundle in an itemized listing or separately.
- Recheck current buyer listings.
DucatDump classifications and estimates are informational. They do not guarantee a buyer, bundle price or completed trade.
How DucatDump Should Calculate a Bundle
DucatDump’s itemized seller-listing workflow calculates each selected item’s quantity, Ducats and proposed Platinum, then displays total item count, total Ducats, total Platinum, Platinum per 100 Ducats and warnings. Its bulk-tier mode records six-item full trades and rates by Ducat bracket without pretending to know the unnamed bundle’s exact Ducat total.
The Prime Junk Calculator itself is primarily an item and set checker; it does not currently provide a standalone anonymous multi-item bundle form. Set-completion warnings are contextual item data rather than a guarantee that an entered bundle completes a set. Missing market prices display no data and do not classify an item as junk.
Using Warframe.Market Before Selling Junk
Warframe.Market is useful for checking individual items that might not belong in a junk bundle. Search the exact part, choose the correct platform/crossplay context, compare several active buy and sell orders, quantities and player statuses, and compare a realistic individual sale with the bulk allocation.
Warframe.Market is a third-party contact and order service, not an official universal Prime-junk exchange rate. Orders are user-created listings rather than completed-sale records, and the transfer occurs inside Warframe. Its orders documentation also shows that results are platform/crossplay-aware and may include users who are not currently online.
How to Compare a Junk Bundle with Individual Sales
- Calculate proposed bulk Platinum.
- Calculate total Ducats.
- Identify warned parts.
- Estimate realistic individual-sale values.
- Remove worthwhile individual items.
- Recalculate the junk bundle.
- Estimate additional selling time.
- Count daily trades required.
- Choose speed or maximum value.
Bulk selling sacrifices some potential value in exchange for speed and convenience. The highest theoretical sum of asking prices is not necessarily achievable, especially when items have weak liquidity.
When a Bulk Sale Is Better
A bulk sale can be better when the parts are genuinely low value, individual demand is weak, many duplicates need clearing, a current buyer exists, time is limited and the difference from likely individual proceeds is small. Bulk value includes convenience, but the seller should still demand clear quantities and totals.
When Individual Sales Are Better
Individual sales can be better when a part has meaningful demand, is scarce or vaulted, completes a desirable set, acts as a bottleneck, has enough liquidity and is worth materially more than its junk allocation. A DucatDump warning is a reason to stop and investigate before choosing the slower sale.
Prime Junk vs Ducats
Prime junk can be sold for tradable Platinum or permanently consumed for Ducats. The better choice depends on the offered bundle price, current Baro needs, individual market value and replacement difficulty.
Kiosk conversion is immediate but irreversible; selling requires a buyer and a daily trade. Buyers may value the same parts by Ducat yield. Compare Prime junk with Ducat conversion before committing.
How to Advertise Prime Junk Clearly
Every message should state WTS or WTB, part count, total or per-item price, full-trade basis, required Ducat tiers, mixing rules, negotiability and relevant account-market context.
WTS Prime junk — [number] parts — [total]pWTS Prime junk — [price]p each — [quantity] availableWTB Prime junk — [required Ducat mix] — [price]p per bundleWTB [Ducat bracket] Prime parts — [price format]
Bracketed fields are placeholders, not current rates. Before posting, create an itemized or bulk seller listing or compare active Prime-junk buyer listings.
Common Prime-Junk Price Notation
WTS means want to sell; WTB, want to buy; p, Platinum; each, price per item; bundle, a group sold together; full trade, agreed use of one six-item trading session; Ducats, fixed kiosk currency; firm, not currently negotiable; negotiable, open to discussion; PM, private message; and PMO, private message an offer.
Ratio notation such as X:Y is ambiguous unless the author defines which number is parts, Ducats or Platinum. Spell out the actual quantities and total.

Trading Requirements
Warframe’s current official Trading FAQ requires Mastery Rank 2 or higher, applicable TennoGuard two-factor authentication, an available daily trade, enough Credits for tax and access to a supported in-game trading location. Only items accepted by the Trade interface are eligible.
Use a Clan Dojo Trading Post or Maroo’s Bazaar. Both players select items, review the offer, mark ready and confirm. Prime blueprints and dropped Prime weapon components can generally be traded; crafted outputs from Prime blueprints cannot. Verify changing requirements in the official Trading FAQ and safe-trading guidance.
How Daily Trade Limits Affect Bundle Prices
Each completed trading session consumes one daily trade. Available daily trades depend mainly on Mastery Rank under current rules, so bulk buyers can value efficient six-item sessions and lower-rank sellers may avoid several tiny sales. Daily trades and item slots are separate constraints: one session can use several item slots but still consumes one daily trade.
How Trade Tax Affects the Deal
Warframe applies a Credit-based trade tax, and both players must afford the amount shown. A Clan Trading Post can add Clan tax. Tax is separate from the Platinum price and does not reduce the agreed Platinum received, but insufficient Credits can prevent completion. Use the final screen rather than an old tax table.
How Baro Events and Special Visits Affect Prices
Regular Baro visits can increase short-term Ducat interest, while desirable or special inventories may create unusual demand. More Prime-junk sellers may also compete at the same time, so price direction is never guaranteed. Treat old “Baro weekend” rates as history and check current buyer activity.
How Market Liquidity Affects Prime-Junk Rates
Liquidity describes how easily a bundle can sell near its expected price. Active buyers make comparisons easier; low activity creates wider spreads. A high advertised price may remain unmatched, while a lower active bid can represent the realistic fast-sale option. Large bundles and narrow Ducat requirements may take longer to match.
Price History and Stale Rates
Price history provides context, not a current guaranteed rate. Trade Chat changes quickly, Baro stock can shift Ducat interest, Prime Resurgence affects individual supply and even a visible buyer can leave. DucatDump stores item price snapshots and displays capture timing on charts, but does not store authoritative completed Prime-junk bundle sales. Recheck immediately before trading.
Example Pricing Scenarios
Equal part count, different Ducats
Two six-part bundles can produce different kiosk totals, so equal part count need not justify equal prices.
Valuable item hidden in junk
A component with meaningful individual demand should be removed and evaluated separately.
High-Ducat compact bundle
Fewer parts can deliver strong Ducats per slot and appeal to a trade-limited buyer.
Baro demand period
Buyer interest and seller competition can rise together, leaving price direction uncertain.
Nearly complete set
An ordinary duplicate may complete the owner’s set and be more useful than its bulk allocation.
Fast seller
A player may accept a lower clear bulk offer to avoid several slow individual trades.
Patient seller
A player can separate liquid parts and sell only checked low-value inventory in bulk.
Common Prime-Junk Pricing Mistakes
Treating one Trade Chat rate as official
No official fixed Platinum rate exists.
Not stating quantity
A total without part count is ambiguous.
Confusing per-item and total price
Name the format explicitly.
Ignoring total Ducats
Equal counts can yield different kiosk value.
Including valuable parts
Check every unfamiliar component.
Assuming bronze means junk
Relic rarity is not market value.
Ignoring vaulted status
Replacement may be difficult.
Ignoring complete sets
A cheap component can have strategic value.
Trusting old fixed-price guides
Offers and conditions change.
Forgetting Baro demand cycles
Interest varies with current inventory.
Ignoring daily trades
Time and slot efficiency matter.
Ignoring Credit tax
The transaction may fail.
Using unclear ratio notation
Spell out quantities and totals.
Calling listings completed sales
An order proves only an advertised offer.
Using only theoretical individual value
Bulk selling exchanges some value for convenience.
Exploiting beginners through ambiguity
Describe every offer honestly and clearly.

Data and Price Notes
DucatDump combines user-provided listings with external Warframe item and market data. Prime item names, Ducats, rarity and vault flags can be synchronized from WFCD. Market estimates use Warframe.Market sell-order data and recent DucatDump snapshots; “Average price” is the median of the cheapest current sell orders.
Junk advice compares the displayed estimate with a configurable threshold for the item’s Ducat tier: at or below is junk, above the threshold through twice it is mid value and above twice it is high value. Missing prices produce “no data,” never automatic junk. Player overrides can intentionally change personal classification.
Orders and Trade Chat messages are not completed-sale proof, low-volume items and bundles are difficult to price, Baro interest and account context change, and actual item eligibility and Trade-screen contents are authoritative. Review DucatDump’s market data sources.
Disclaimer: DucatDump is an unofficial fan-made Warframe tool. Classifications, estimates, history and player listings are informational and may change. DucatDump does not guarantee bundle prices, buyers or completed trades. Warframe.Market is a third-party marketplace whose orders are user-created listings. Prime Junk Price FAQ
How much is Prime junk worth in Warframe?
Prime junk has no permanent value; compare the exact bundle’s parts, Ducats, format and current offers.
Does Prime junk have an official price?
No. Every Platinum rate is a community offer rather than an official exchange rate.
How is Prime junk priced?
Prime junk is commonly priced per part, bundle, full trade, Ducat bracket or 100 Ducats.
What does price per part mean?
Price per part assigns the stated Platinum amount to every eligible item copy.
What does price per trade mean?
Price per trade is one total for the explicitly agreed items in one trading session.
What is a full Prime-junk trade?
A full Prime-junk trade currently means six item copies in DucatDump’s listing workflow.
How many items fit in one Warframe trade?
Each player can currently offer up to six separate item entries; verify the current Trade interface before relying on older guidance.
What is price per 100 Ducats?
It is total Platinum divided by total Ducats, multiplied by 100.
Why do buyers pay more for higher-Ducat parts?
Higher-Ducat parts can provide more kiosk currency per limited item slot, although the offered rate still varies.
Are all bronze Prime parts junk?
No. Bronze describes reward probability and does not determine market or set value.
Are silver and gold parts worth more as junk?
Not automatically. Check fixed Ducats and individual demand instead of relying on Relic color.
Can vaulted parts be Prime junk?
Yes, but every vaulted part requires an individual replacement, set and market check first.
Should valuable parts be included in a junk bundle?
No. Remove meaningfully valuable parts and evaluate them separately.
How do you calculate total Ducat value?
Multiply each item’s fixed Ducats by its quantity, then add every line total.
Does Baro Ki’Teer increase Prime-junk prices?
Baro can increase interest, but buyer demand, his stock and seller competition make the price effect uncertain.
Are Prime-junk rates different by platform?
Reachable account markets can differ, but Cross Platform Play and account restrictions make old platform assumptions unreliable.
What is a good Prime-junk bundle?
A good bundle has checked low-value parts, clear quantities, verified Ducats and an unambiguous total price.
Is it better to sell Prime junk or individual parts?
Bulk selling favors speed, while liquid valuable parts may return more through individual sales.
Is it better to sell Prime junk or exchange it for Ducats?
Compare the current Platinum offer with Baro needs, market value and the permanent loss caused by kiosk conversion.
How do you advertise Prime junk in Trade Chat?
State WTS or WTB, part count, pricing unit, Ducat requirements and total Platinum.
What does WTB Prime junk mean?
WTB Prime junk means a player wants to buy eligible Prime parts under stated terms.
What does WTS Prime junk mean?
WTS Prime junk means a player wants to sell checked Prime parts under stated terms.
What does “each” mean in a listing?
“Each” means the stated price applies separately to every eligible item copy.
What does firm mean?
Firm means the advertiser is not currently offering to negotiate the stated price.
Why are buyer prices lower than seller prices?
Buyers prioritize acquisition cost while sellers usually ask for a higher return, creating a spread.
Is the highest advertised price realistic?
Not necessarily. A high unmatched asking price does not prove a buyer will pay it.
Can DucatDump calculate Prime-junk value?
Yes, itemized seller listings calculate totals and ratios, while the calculator checks individual items and set context.
Does DucatDump guarantee a price?
No. Its estimates, classifications and listings are informational.
Can Warframe.Market be used for Prime junk?
Use Warframe.Market primarily to check individual items that may deserve removal from a junk bundle.
Does Warframe.Market show completed sales?
Its order pages show user-created offers, not guaranteed completed-sale records.
Where does the actual trade take place?
The actual item and Platinum transfer occurs through Warframe’s official Trade interface.
How do daily trade limits affect bulk prices?
Limited daily sessions make efficient six-item trades more useful to some buyers and sellers.
Does Trade Tax reduce Platinum received?
No. Trade Tax is paid in Credits separately, but insufficient Credits can block the transaction.
How do you avoid selling a valuable item as junk?
Search every unfamiliar part, then check its vault status, set context, Ducats, estimates and current orders.
How often should Prime-junk prices be checked?
Recheck prices immediately before advertising or accepting a trade because messages and demand can change quickly.
