Ducats are a non-premium Warframe currency used mainly to purchase rotating items from the Void Trader, Baro Ki’Teer. Ducats are separate from Credits and Platinum and are not normally bought directly for real money.

Eligible Prime blueprints and components each have a game-assigned Ducat value. Exchanging an item adds that amount to the player’s account and consumes the item. Stored Ducats remain available between Baro visits and are not normally transferred directly to another player.

Players get Ducats by exchanging eligible Prime blueprints and components at a Ducat Kiosk in a Relay. Normally, Ducats do not drop from standard enemies or appear as the direct reward for opening a Relic.

For the complete acquisition process, learn how to farm Prime parts. Special event offerings can occasionally create other ways to obtain or spend related currencies, but the Relay conversion chain is the stable method.

Eligible Prime blueprints and Prime components can generally be exchanged when they appear in the Ducat Kiosk inventory. These include Prime Warframe blueprints and component blueprints, Prime weapon blueprints, and Prime weapon components obtained from Relics.

A complete crafted Warframe or weapon is not simply converted at the kiosk. Normal Warframe parts, ordinary resources, Credits and Platinum are not Ducat trade-ins, and Void Relics themselves are not normally exchanged directly. Forma Blueprint rewards currently carry zero Ducat value in the data rather than serving as a useful conversion item.

Not every item containing “Prime” is automatically eligible, and item-specific exceptions can change. The kiosk’s eligible-item list and displayed value are the final in-game check.

Every eligible Prime reward has a fixed Ducat value until Digital Extremes changes its game data. DucatDump currently supports the item-data tiers 15, 25, 45, 65 and 100. These values often relate to reward rarity, but exceptions exist and one part can appear at different rarity positions across Relics. Always read the displayed value.

Ducat Kiosks are located in the Concourse area of supported Warframe Relays, near the area used by Baro Ki’Teer. Relay layouts are not all visually identical.

The exchange consumes every selected copy. If you own three copies and need one for crafting, verify that only two are selected. Check item names as well as quantities because component names can look similar.

Ducats are primarily used to purchase rotating goods from Baro Ki’Teer, the Void Trader. His visits can include Primed Mods, weapons, cosmetics, decorations, Relics, beacons, boosters, Captura scenes, companion items and other special goods.

Most purchases need Ducats, and many also need Credits. Baro’s stock rotates, so not every category or item appears every visit; items can return later, while special event inventories may work differently. Baro Ki’Teer is Warframe’s Void Trader. Under the standard schedule documented by Digital Extremes, he visits a Relay every two weeks for about 48 hours, with an indicator appearing before arrival. His stock changes each visit and generally uses Ducats plus Credits. Check the current destination and inventory before converting a large amount of inventory, because special schedules can occur.

Most Baro Ki’Teer purchases require both Ducats and Credits. The two amounts are separate costs, so having enough Ducats does not guarantee that a player can buy an item.

Check both displayed prices and keep a suitable Credit reserve before converting Prime parts. Exchanging items at the Ducat Kiosk itself does not normally charge Credits unless the interface explicitly shows a separate cost. Primed Mods also need Credits and Endo to rank after purchase.

Farm Ducats efficiently by opening surplus Relics in full public Void Fissure squads, comparing all reward choices, and converting only checked duplicates. There is no permanent best node: mission availability, type, squad speed, Reactant consistency, Relic supply and loading time determine the best active option.

Capture, Exterminate and Rescue can be quick. Survival, Defense, Excavation and Disruption can open several Relics per session. Extremely fast short missions can fail when corrupted enemies do not provide enough Reactant, so do not rush extraction before everyone has 10.

The highest-Ducat reward is not always the best overall Fissure choice. Use this order:

1. Choose a part required for personal crafting.
2. Protect valuable or vaulted parts.
3. Consider a part that completes a useful or valuable set.
4. Compare current Platinum value.
5. Compare fixed Ducat value.
6. Consider Forma or another personally needed reward.
7. Select the most disposable reward only after checking alternatives.

Ducat value is fixed by the game; Platinum value changes with player supply and demand. A part can be cheap in Platinum but efficient for Ducats, or valuable in Platinum despite a modest Ducat return. Neither market estimates nor listings guarantee a sale. 4. Read the junk, mid-value, high-value or no-data advice.
5. Check stored price history and its item chart when available.
6. Consider set quantities, crafting use and vaulted status.
7. Choose whether to keep, trade or exchange it.
8. Recheck current information before a player trade.

DucatDump uses maintained item data and a median of the cheapest current online Warframe.Market sell orders for its displayed “Average price” estimate. It also shows Ducats per platinum and average price per 100 Ducats. Item pages can open an individual price-history chart, while buyer and seller listings provide trading context.

DucatDump provides informational comparisons and does not guarantee a market sale price. Missing price data means “review manually,” not “safe to destroy.”

Good candidates are checked duplicates that are not needed for crafting or a set, have weak individual market demand, provide a useful Ducat return, are replaceable and are not scarce. Poor candidates are unreviewed, valuable, vaulted, difficult to replace, reserved for another player or important to equipment or a complete set.

Do not use a permanent item-name list because availability and market value change. Instead, find the best Prime parts for Ducats using current ratios and item checks.

Prime junk can be a practical Ducat source, but “junk” only means unwanted or relatively low-value in a particular context. Bulk buyers may offer Platinum for the same parts, so compare bundle demand, Ducat utility, Baro needs and trading time. The Prime junk versus Ducats guide provides a focused decision process.

There is no universal Ducat reserve. The useful amount depends on desired Primed Mods, weapons, cosmetics, rotating inventory, owned items, available Credits, special events and willingness to wait for later returns.

Beginners should generally prioritize broadly useful Primed Mods, unique weapons wanted for Mastery or collection, high-utility account items, and difficult-to-replace special goods before optional cosmetics. This is a category order, not a current shopping list.

Not every Primed Mod helps every build; ranking one costs Endo and Credits. Weapons can have Mastery requirements, cosmetics are subjective, and many Baro items return. Avoid fear-driven purchases and review the most useful Primed Mods for your account.

Warframe currencies have separate sources and uses. “Player-tradable” below means the currency itself can participate in an eligible in-game trade, not that every copy or use is unrestricted.

Ducats themselves are not normally traded directly between players. Players can trade eligible Prime parts, and the receiving player may convert those parts at a kiosk.

Prime-junk trading therefore transfers potential Ducat value indirectly. The exact total depends on the parts, not simply the number of trade slots. Clarify price per part, price per full trade, item count and total Ducats. Read the Prime-junk selling guide or inspect active buyer listings.

Ducats do not expire under the currently documented system. They remain on the account between Baro visits, and Baro’s departure does not remove them. Players can save a balance for later rotations rather than spending it immediately.

Players should treat a Ducat Kiosk exchange as final and carefully inspect selected items before confirming. No general official policy promises reversal of an accidental conversion. Check names, quantities, crafting needs, set context and value first; contact official Warframe Support when appropriate, but do not assume recovery is available.

Ducats are earned by converting eligible Prime blueprints and components at a Relay’s Ducat Kiosk and are used mainly for Baro Ki’Teer purchases. Farm them by opening surplus Relics efficiently, but always compare crafting, Platinum, set and Ducat value before consuming a Prime part.
