How to Farm and Sell Prime Junk in Warframe

Use this ten-step loop to farm, value, and dispose of surplus Prime rewards safely:

Prime junk is a community term for surplus Prime blueprints and weapon components that a player is willing to sell cheaply in bulk or exchange for Ducats. Warframe does not permanently label an item as Prime junk.

The label is contextual. One player may not need a part, while another needs it for crafting, to finish a Prime set, or because the item is vaulted. Demand can also rise after an availability change or when more players want the finished equipment.

Ducat value and market value measure different things. Ducats are a fixed in-game exchange return used mainly for Baro Ki'Teer purchases. Platinum value reflects changing player supply and demand. A useful Ducat-to-Platinum ratio can make a low-market-price part attractive for Ducats without making it valueless.

Farm Prime junk by accumulating surplus Relics and opening them repeatedly in full-squad Void Fissures. Each successfully opened squad Relic adds a reward option, letting you choose the best available result before repeating the run.

There is no permanently best node because available Fissures rotate. The practical choice depends on current missions, squad speed, loading time, Relic supply, Reactant consistency, and whether you prefer quick runs or several endless rotations.

• Capture, Exterminate, and Rescue can be quick when the squad still gives corrupted enemies time to spawn.
• Survival, Defense, Excavation, and Disruption can open several Relics without returning to the Orbiter after every reward interval.
• Public matchmaking normally gives more reward choices than solo farming.
• Preserve scarce or valuable Relics for targeted farming instead of spending them as general junk fuel.

Short missions lose their advantage if players finish before everyone collects 10 Reactant. Slow down when necessary, watch the squad counters, and do not force extraction early.

Use abundant, duplicate Relics whose rewards you do not personally need. Relics with broadly useful pools are welcome, but the main goal is avoiding consumption of something scarce or reserved for a targeted farm.

Do not casually consume a rare vaulted Relic, a Relic containing an expensive target, a copy reserved for a Radshare, or your final copy of a difficult-to-obtain Relic. Search its reward pool before equipping it when you are unsure.

Intact Relics are often sensible for general surplus farming because they conserve Void Traces. Refinement is worthwhile when you deliberately target an uncommon or rare reward, not simply because every Relic can be refined. Public squads are usually better for Prime junk farming because every squad member who successfully opens a Relic produces one selectable reward. A full squad can display up to four reward choices instead of the single result available to a solo player.

Each player selects one displayed reward; nobody receives every option. Choosing another player's result gives you a copy without taking their selection away. Different Relics can also create a more varied set of Prime rewards, improving the chance that at least one option is useful, valuable, or efficient for Ducats.

Choose the best Fissure reward by checking your goal first, then comparing crafting need, scarcity, set use, Platinum value, and Ducat value. Reward color alone is not enough.

1. A component you still need for crafting.
2. A valuable or vaulted part.
3. A component that completes a sellable set.
4. The strongest current individual Platinum value.
5. The best useful Ducat return.
6. Forma or another reward you personally need.
7. A genuinely low-value component suitable for a bulk junk offer.

Bronze, silver, and gold show a reward's probability position inside a particular Relic; they do not set a permanent Platinum price. Player prices respond to supply, demand, vaulting, set demand, and current acquisition routes.

A common component from a scarce vaulted Relic can be worth more than an abundant current rare reward. Likewise, a high-Ducat part is not automatically a strong Platinum sale, and a low-Ducat part is not automatically worthless.

3. Compare the estimated Platinum and Ducat metrics.
4. Inspect its set context and required quantities.
5. Check vaulted status and stored price history where available.
6. Decide whether to keep, list, bulk-sell, or exchange it.
7. Re-check the final Warframe Trade screen before confirming.

Advice uses public defaults or a signed-in player's configurable thresholds, so it is a screening tool rather than a universal verdict. Missing or stale market data should lead to more checking, not an automatic junk label.

Sell Prime junk through Trade Chat by stating exactly what you offer, how the price is calculated, and whether the amount applies per part, per bundle, or per full trade.

1. Open Trade Chat and observe recent WTB and WTS posts.
2. Prepare a concise offer without assuming an old community rate is current.
3. State the quantity and whether pricing is per part, per bundle, per full trade, or based on Ducats.
4. Clarify the total Platinum before inviting or joining the other player.
5. Invite the buyer or join their session.
6. Use a Clan Dojo Trading Post or Maroo's Bazaar.
7. Place the agreed items in the in-game Trade interface.
8. Verify every item and the Platinum amount after any change.
9. Confirm only when the final screen matches the agreement.

WTS means want to sell; WTB means want to buy; PM means private message; PMO asks players to send a private offer; each means price per item; set means all required components; junk means a bulk low-value offer; and full trade means filling the agreed Trade-interface slots. In shorthand such as X:YP, X normally represents a part quantity and Y a Platinum amount, but always confirm whether Y is the total or a per-item rate.

Public seller listings and buyer listings show coordination data such as rates, online presence, available trades, notes, and profile signals. DucatDump does not hold items, transfer Platinum, escrow payment, verify every user, reverse trades, or guarantee availability or pricing.

Prime blueprints and Prime weapon components can generally be traded when the in-game Trade interface accepts them; crafted Prime items cannot be treated as ordinary Prime-part trades. Item-specific restrictions can exist, so the Trade interface is the final eligibility check.

• Prime Warframe blueprints, including component blueprints, are tradable before crafting.
• Crafted Prime Warframe components are not tradable.
• Prime weapon blueprints and components may be tradable, but complete built Prime weapons are not standard Prime-part trades.

Warframe's current Trading FAQ requires Mastery Rank 2 or higher, applicable TennoGuard two-factor authentication, an available daily trade, sufficient Credits for tax, and access to a supported in-game trading location.

• Use a Clan Dojo Trading Post or Maroo's Bazaar.
• Enable Cross Platform Play when coordinating across platforms.
• Official guidance requires TennoGuard 2FA for PC and Cross Platform Save trading contexts.
• Cross-platform Platinum trading involving Nintendo Switch and another platform is unavailable.
• Only items accepted by the official Trade interface belong in the transaction.

Warframe bases the number of available daily trading sessions on Mastery Rank, with the current official FAQ noting an additional Founder bonus. One completed trading session consumes one daily trade even when several item slots are used.

A lower-Mastery-Rank player should organize quantities and terms before inviting someone so limited trades are not wasted on misunderstood offers. Check the current remaining-trades display rather than relying on yesterday's count; the Trade interface controls how many items fit in the current session.

Warframe charges each player a Credit-based trade tax determined by the items involved. Both players must be able to pay their applicable tax, and a Clan can add a separate Clan Trading Tax at its Trading Post.

Tax is not part of the negotiated Platinum price. An otherwise correct trade can fail when someone lacks Credits, so read the tax shown in the final Trade screen before confirming instead of relying on an old tax table.

Price Prime junk by comparing the number of parts, Ducats per part, total Ducats, current buyer demand, platform context, trade-slot efficiency, and whether the bundle accidentally contains valuable parts. Baro Ki'Teer timing and general market conditions can also affect demand.

Never treat one Trade Chat ratio as a universal rate. Clarify price per part, price per full trade, or total bundle price before anyone enters the Dojo.

Choose the selling format that matches the item's value and your available time. Compare set value with the cost and effort required to obtain missing components rather than assuming a set always earns more.

Sell for Platinum when the part or bundle has clear demand, the offer is worthwhile, you need Platinum, the part is vaulted or valuable, or your Ducat reserve is already comfortable.

Exchange for Ducats when market demand is weak, the Ducat return is efficient, you need a Baro item, or finding a buyer would take disproportionate time. A kiosk conversion is immediate but permanently consumes the part.
